Hannah Mills was content in her life. She was the personal assistant to best-selling author Melissa Loring. But now Melissa was engaged to the famous actor Will Martinsson and they were traveling around the world based on his filming and interview schedule. Hannah loved traveling with them, but she didn’t want to run into Royce Rivers, Will’s co-star and friend. The same man she called friend, until one night, things went too far. What started as fun and games with a new friend, soon changed to something more. Royce wanted nothing more than to slay the demons which keeps her away from him so they could have their happily ever after.

Omgosh the author has done it again, this book is amazing. I was pulled in from page 1, this a fantabulous storyline, worthy of more than 5 stars. M Stratton has a way with words and making you love her characters. ***I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review***. Do your self a favor and pick this book up when it releases.
***CAUTION*** This is book 2 of The Star Series. Highly recommend reading When Dreams Come True first.

Okay enough of that. Hannah & Royce. This couple really speaks to me on a lot of levels. Hannah Mills, Melissa "Lissa" Loring's assistant. She lives & breaths in the book world, literally. It's almost like she is keeping herself from living her own life…. Oh she loves working for Lissa, she loves being part of her best friends journey. But she has a dark past that she prefers to not repeat with another man, it's just not worth it. SHe doesn't deserve to be happy.
Royce Rivers, hot, sexy movie star best friend of William "Will" Martinsson. Hannah & Royce meet in the first book-When Dreams Come True. In the most epic way possible for two besties.Lissa & Hannah. They were invited to go to the premiere of the most anticipated action hero movie that was starring both men. Well Hannah is a HUGE fan of Royce's, may border on obsession, but that is for another review.
Both Royce & Hannah have demons in their past but the difference is Royce is willing to open up and let Hannah in. Hannah is having a very difficult time with letting Royce in, even though she wants to, her fear is to powerful. But Royce being Royce doesn't pull any stops with Hannah. Is he able to pull off the impossible? Do yourself a favor and get this series!!
I have always been a HUGE M. Stratton fan and to me her writing gets better with each book. I didn't think anyone could top my Noah Matthews from her Storm Series but…….yeah #RoyceIsMine
I just finished Wishing on a Star and I really liked it! This is apart of the Star series and can be read as a stand alone but to get the full effect of all the characters you should read When Dreams Come True which was Will and Lissa's story. Now this is Royce and Hannah. They both have secrets and demons from their past. This is all about letting that fear go and moving on with something beautiful and fulfilling. Will they be able to do this? Just read and see.
I enjoyed the story. It's a good plot. Who doesn't want vulnerability with Lin their characters. You really got a sense of trust issues with Hannah and what had happened to her. So sad! Royce, you get an idea as to why he has some demons on his past. I did want some more elaboration on it. I did like their chemistry. I could see why they wanted each other. It was good to see Lissa and Will. Like where that went.
Can't wait to read more! I'm glad Hope is going to get her own!!

This is Hannah and Royce's story.
M Stratton has done it again. Another wonderful, beautiful story continues in this series.
This series is a light hearted, sweet, romantic read.
Hannah and Royce's story is not different.
From the start I was hooked and couldn't put it down.
Hannah is Liss' assistant, and Royce is Will's best friend.
You still get to see Liss and Will in this book and that made me happy. I loved those two in book one. BUT this is a whole different story that is based off of Hannah and Royce.
These two were simply meant to be. I also loved how there characters developed throughout the book. Very strong characters that became even better together.
You don't want to miss this book. Even if you're ready this series for the first time, make sure to pick up book one as well. You will not be disappointed!
I love this author and her writing.

This second book in the series is amazing. This series focuses on a different couple in each book, but the story ties together with each one as well. This one focuses on Hannah, Melissa's assistant, and Royce Rivers, an actor and best friend of Will's. This book may be even better than the first one, and I loved the first one a lot. This is a great suspenseful romance book, and the characters path towards happiness is a great story to follow. I love reading this series, and this book because she mentions characters from her other series. For a fan, it is fun to see them still in the same world as her previous books, but if you didn't know, it will not take away from the enjoyment.
Hannah is a woman with serious issues. A previous boyfriend nearly killed her, so she has clawed her way back by relying on no one but herself. She is afraid of change, always having to be on top of things and have a plan. Her world is being made even more unstable by the fact that her ex is getting out of prison very soon and that scares her. But if she doesn't allow herself to be happy, she may just push away the one guy who wants to give her the world and his heart.
Royce is an actor along with his friend Will. Royce has had his own demons to slay after he had fallen into the Hollywood trap and had gotten mixed up in drugs and booze. He is sober now, but he still fights daily to stay that way. Now he has found something worth fighting for in the assistant to his best friends girlfriend. He is willing to fight to be in her life. He wants to be her knight in shining armor.
This story is so great because the characters are so real. They aren't plastic or stiff. They have fierce emotions and they make mistakes. But when it comes to being true to themselves, they fight hard. This is a great book and series and I cannot wait to read the next one.
